The WFR was not invited to the meeting of the Committee on Student Publications simply because that committee had traditionally deal only with school-chartered student publications. In an effort to get the Committee (and university) to think more broadly about student publications, I brought up the WFR as an example. If the discussion of expanding the university’s concept of student publications takes off, I would be both surprised and troubled if representatives of the WFR were not included.
