CHARLOTTE, NC — After securing their fourth ACC Championship in program history, 12 Wake Forest men’s soccer players have been named to the All-ACC Academic Team, the league office announced Wednesday.
Academic Excellence for Wake Forest Soccer
Key Highlights:
- Second-most selections in program history.
- Third consecutive year with 11 or more honorees.
- Three players – Colin Thomas, Ryan Fessler, and Travis Smith Jr. – earned their second career All-ACC Academic honors.
All-ACC Academic Requirements:
- 3.0 GPA for the previous semester.
- 3.0 cumulative GPA throughout college.
- Participation in at least 50% of the team’s contests.
