Winston-Salem, N.C. – Wake Forest men’s soccer, the reigning 2024 ACC Champions, has announced the signing of defender Copeland Berkley as part of its 2025 recruiting class.
The Portage, Michigan native brings extensive experience from the New York Red Bulls Academy, where he played over 2,300 minutes for New York Red Bulls II since his U12 days.

Berkley’s Impressive Red Bulls II Career
- Debuted at 16 for New York Red Bulls II vs. New England (April 21, 2023).
- Earned first start two weeks later, playing a full 90 minutes vs. Philadelphia.
- 35 appearances, 29 starts for the second team.
- Contributed to 9 clean sheets and registered 3 assists.
- Former teammates with current Wake Forest player Nico Rabiu.
