Officials Speak on Service Restoration
Malibu Mayor Doug Stewart emphasized the importance of restoring bus access:
“Restoring public transportation access to Malibu is a critical step in our community’s recovery. This modified service strikes a careful balance between safety and ensuring residents, workers, and business patrons have a safe and reliable way to travel through the area.”
Stewart also acknowledged the ongoing impact of the Palisades Fire but noted that the return of bus service is a milestone in reconnecting the region.
