Upon arrival, police found Adel Tawfeek, 51, sitting on the back porch with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to a hospital, where he later died.
According to an affidavit, the argument began when Tawfeek became upset after noticing that their 8-year-old son, who has autism, had defecated in his pants. Adams told police that Tawfeek began yelling at both her and the child.
