Boyle Heights, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Union Pacific train on Sunday afternoon in Boyle Heights, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
The fatal incident occurred around 2 p.m. near the 3200 block of E. Union Pacific Avenue. Authorities have not yet determined why the individual was on the tracks at the time of the accident.
