LONG BEACH, CA — Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who severely injured a motorcyclist in a crash Friday evening at Pacific Avenue and Seventh Street.

Details of the Collision

Time & Location: Friday, 6 p.m., at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Seventh Street

Vehicles Involved:

  • Honda motorcycle (traveling north on Pacific Avenue)
  • Black Chevrolet pickup truck (traveling west on Seventh Street)

After the collision, the Chevy pickup driver fled the scene, turning north onto Cedar Avenue without stopping.

“It is unclear at this time which vehicle had the right-of-way,” the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) said in a statement.

Motorcyclist in Critical Condition

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with severe injuries and remains in critical condition nearly a week later.

Police Searching for Suspect Vehicle
