Women’s Golf: Season Opener in Florida

The No. 12 Wake Forest women’s golf team kicks off its 2025 spring season at the Moon Golf Invitational at Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Fla..

Women’s Basketball: Tough Loss at Syracuse, Rivalry Game Ahead

Last Game: Wake Forest vs. Syracuse

  • The Demon Deacons started strong, leading by as much as 12 points in the second quarter.
  • Demeara Hinds scored 14 points, leading the team for the second consecutive game.

Upcoming Games:

  • Thursday: Big-4 rivalry game vs. No. 3 Duke (6:00 p.m. at LJVM Coliseum)
  • Sunday: Road matchup vs. No. 20 Georgia Tech (ACC Network)

Women’s Tennis: Undefeated Home Stand, Road Trip Begins

Wake Forest won both matches during its lone home stand of February:

  • 4-1 vs. Furman (Friday)
  • 4-0 vs. James Madison (Sunday)

Standout Performers:

  • Sankavi Gownder (6-3, 6-2 vs. Furman & JMU) – 7-1 season record in dual matches.
  • Whitley Pate (6-2, 6-3 vs. Furman & 6-2, 6-0 vs. JMU).

Next Up: Six-match road trip, starting with a doubleheader vs. No. 22 South Carolina & Western Carolina in Columbia, S.C.

Track & Field: Robbie Grace Continues Dominance

Robbie Grace earned her fifth-consecutive first-place finish in the long jump at the Doc Hale meet in Blacksburg, Va.

  • Grace holds the Wake Forest long jump record (6.22m).
  • Six Demon Deacons earned podium finishes across two meets last weekend.

Women’s Soccer: Six Deacons Sign Professional Contracts

Following a historic season, six Wake Forest women’s soccer players signed pro contracts:
