Santa Monica police have arrested three suspects in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning outside a popular bar near the city’s oceanfront. The incident, which took place near The Bungalow, a well-known bar attached to the Fairmont Miramar Hotel, left one man dead and another injured.

What Happened?

The Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD) reported that first responders arrived at the 100 block of Wilshire Boulevard just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, where they found Oscar Alfredo Gonzalez, 31, of Santa Maria, critically injured from stab wounds.

Gonzalez and another unidentified man, who also sustained injuries in the stabbing, were rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite emergency efforts, Gonzalez was later pronounced dead. The second victim’s condition has not been publicly disclosed.

Who Are the Suspects?

Police have identified three men suspected of being involved in the deadly attack:

  • Rogelio Arenas, 32, of Los Angeles – Arrested on suspicion of homicide and held without bail.
  • Alfredo Quinteros, 41, of South Gate – Arrested on suspicion of homicide and held without bail.
  • Ricardo Quinteros, 42, of South Gate – Arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to homicide and also held without bail.

The SMPD confirmed that the arrests followed a “comprehensive investigation.” Two of the suspects were apprehended on Monday, and the third was taken into custody on Wednesday.
